Experience Denver's Chesney Street Project

Inspired by the melodic sophistication of West Coast cool jazz, Chesney Street Project combines timeless standards, contemporary interpretations, and thoughtful arrangements to create performances that are elegant, intimate, and memorable.

Our repertoire includes jazz standards, Great American Songbook classics, bossa nova, cool jazz, elegant swing, and carefully selected contemporary arrangements that complement a wide variety of events. Our signature ensemble is a sophisticated jazz quartet featuring trumpet, piano, upright bass, and drums. We also offer expanded configurations with vocals, saxophone, guitar, or percussion for larger events.

Chesney Street Project is led by trumpeter Jonathan Hoehn, joined by Dave Hanson (piano), Gonzalo Teppa(upright bass), and Alejandro Castaño (drums). Each member brings years of professional performance experience, creating the refined, conversational sound that has become the signature of Chesney Street Project.
